Porter is talking with Jack while developing the Jack & Jill Conversations™website.

Porter: Now, I know, but when you ask me to look for stock images, uploads, like files, and cloud icon, do you mean on the left navigation or on the right, where I guess that's a place where I can edit? And so I'd appreciate if you'd direct my eyes to what part of the Glide screen you want me to look for those. And maybe you want me to look everywhere, but just let me know.

Jack: Excellent feedback, Porter. 🎯💙You are absolutely right.  I need to direct your eyes to a specific zone.  So from now on I’ll do that.

Current screen map:

  • LEFT = Navigation / lists

  • MIDDLE = Phone preview

  • RIGHT = editing/settings panel

When I ask about image options, I mean:

MIDDLE PHONE PREVIEW

and then what appears as a popup after clicking an image.  So precise instruction:

Look at the MIDDLE PHONE PREVIEW.  Find the small image that sits immediately next to: Welcome to Jack & Jill Conversations™

Click THAT image.

Then watch the popup that appears ON TOP OF THE MIDDLE PHONE AREA.

Question:

Does THAT popup show choices like:

  • Stock images

  • Upload

  • Select files

  • cloud icon

Yes or no? 🎨💙

That “NO” is actually very useful.

That means clicking that welcome image in the MIDDLE PHONE PREVIEW is not the editable image trigger.

So we use the editor, not the preview.

New precise eye directions:

Look at the RIGHT EDIT PANEL.

You previously described a dropdown list there with items like:

  • Welcome text

  • Hi everyone, I’m Porter Davis

  • Chuckle Moments

  • Organizing My Thoughts

Question:

In the RIGHT EDIT PANEL, do you see an item called:

Welcome

or

Welcome image

or anything with the word image?

Just in the RIGHT panel list. 👀🎯💙

Porter: Good direction. Scan through this thing, no downloads, nothing. Didn't see a welcome, didn't see a welcome image, and I know what you're looking for because we saw this before somewhere and I was able to play with images. It's probably in that data one in the middle of the page or something. Maybe that comes up on the right also.

Porter: YES.

Jack: That means the image editing is probably in Data mode, not Layout preview.

So let’s go there deliberately.

Eye directions:

When you click Data, does the MIDDLE AREA change from the phone preview to the rows/tables view?
